28 riders took to the line on a warm sunny evening to do battle in this years’ Interclub competition over a 25 mile course that started near Donington. 6 riders represented Bourne as the club looked to avenge last years narrow defeat to Spalding.
The race saw some excellent times, with 10 riders breaking the magical one hour and a number of great PBs. Neil Palmer of Spalding posted the fastest time (54 mins 43 secs).

In the team event Spalding retained the title with a 2mins 42 sec advantage over Bourne (Tom Comben/ Matt Green/ Antony Gough) who were 2nd were the second year in a row.
In the Category competitions, Bourne’s ever improving Cliff Hilless continued his excellent season winning the C Cat with an excellent time of 1 hr 00 min 50 sec.
