Sunday saw a considerable sized team taking part in the 2nd round of the Lincs Cyclo-Cross League.
Top performer out of all the riders was Tim James who placed 5th in the under 16’s race. Backing Tim up were 5 other iriders with Aaron Bateman 16th, Adam Botteley 20th, Robbie Ward 27th, Joe Collins 29th and Jamie Nation 30th.
Next up were the under 12’s. Bourne only had 2 riders in this race with Alex Gammons showing huge improvement with 12th place, while newcomer Matthew Comben rode really well to finish in 21st.
Finally to race were the seniors. Bourne fielded the biggest number of riders they have ever had in the race, 7 in total. This was despite two of their top riders not racing. 1st of the Bourne riders was Bart Kieres in 26th, with Keith Munton 46th, Steve Collins 51st, Tom Comben 76th, Sian Botteley 77th (2nd Lady) and Mike Parkins 83rd. James Gelsthorpe was a non finisher
