Sian in action
Sunday saw the clubs youth riders taking part in the East Midlands Division Championships at RAF Barkston.
The club have 2 Gold medallists in the form of Alex Galpin (Under 8 boys) and Sian Botteley (Under 16 girls). No other riders managed to medal although Alex’s brother Dan was only just off the podium in 4th place while Sian’s brother Adam was 6th in the ultra competitve under 14 race despite crashing. Unfortunately 2 of the clubs riders failed to finish this race with Maddie coming off resulting in a broken collar bone and Tim pulling out with a calf muscle injury.
Other club riders performing well were Alex Gammons, Dan Burton and Aaron Bateman
